Vice President Kamala Harris is catching major heat for straight up fibbing about Florida’s education system. She had the audacity to claim that Florida students will be learning about the “benefits of slavery.” Can you believe that? It’s like she’s living in an alternate reality where she can just make things up and expect us to believe her.
First of all, let’s set the record straight. Conservatives are not “banning books” willy-nilly. We’re just concerned about the inappropriate and extremist content that often finds its way into these so-called educational materials. It’s not too much to ask for some standards, people!
Why do Democrats LIE about EVERYTHING?
Seems like the only thing they know how to do these days!https://t.co/otO8xwwJje

But Kamala conveniently left out the details and decided to play the revisionist history card. She pointed fingers at Florida, saying that middle school students will be taught that enslaved people actually benefited from slavery. Now, that’s a load of hogwash if I’ve ever heard one.
Of course, the liberal crowd ate it up and got all riled up. But here’s the thing, folks. They cherry-picked a single sentence from a 216-page document to make their case. Talk about grasping at straws! The Florida State Board of Education’s new standards simply acknowledge that some slaves developed skills that could be used for their own benefit. That’s just a fact, plain and simple.
And let’s not forget about the lesson plans that mention racially motivated violence from Black Americans. You see, they conveniently forget to mention that these incidents were not always as one-sided as they like to portray. Take the Tulsa race riots in 1921, for example. It was a tragic event, but there were instances of violence from both sides. But according to the left, it’s only okay to talk about violence when it suits their narrative.
Luckily, the Florida Board of Education had the backbone to stand up to the outrage mob. They defended the guidelines, explaining that their aim is to provide comprehensive and rigorous instruction on African American history. Bravo to them!
So, let’s not fall for Kamala’s lies and the left’s attempts to rewrite history. Some slaves did develop specialized trades and skills, and that’s worth acknowledging. But let’s not pretend that slavery was some kind of benevolent institution. It was a dark and shameful chapter in our history, and it should never be sugarcoated.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think I need to take a cold shower to wash off the left’s attempt to gaslight us. Stay vigilant, my conservative friends!
