Vice President Kamala Harris is on a mission to charm the Hispanic Caucus in Houston. As if the absence of the actual border crisis weren’t enough, Harris is cozying up to Congressional Hispanic Caucus leaders in a desperate attempt to win them over. With her phony smile and rehearsed talking points, she’s hoping to distract from her disastrous handling of the immigration mess at the southern border.
Harris is set to chat with the likes of Chairwoman Nanette Diaz Barragan and Rep. Sylvia Garcia, both loyal Democrats who won’t dare challenge her empty promises. Not to mention the presence of Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, adding an extra layer of political theater to this little gathering.

But what’s the real goal here? Perhaps it’s just another photo op for the VP to grandstand and pose as a friend of the Hispanic community, all while ignoring the chaos and suffering caused by the border mayhem that she’s conveniently brushed under the rug.
This so-called “On the Road” event series is just a smoke and mirrors tactic to make it seem like Harris actually cares about solving the border crisis, when in reality, she’s done nothing but promote open borders and failed policies. It’s time for Harris to stop the political pandering and start addressing the real issues plaguing our country – and it starts with securing the border, not staging phony conversations.
