In a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton just couldn’t resist the urge to insult American voters once again. It seems like she just can’t let go of her bitter loss to Donald Trump in the 2016 election. Instead of showing humility and moving on gracefully, she decided to lash out at the very people whose votes she desperately needed.
Clinton’s condescending attitude towards voters who didn’t choose her in 2016 is utterly disrespectful. She seems to think Americans are too dumb to understand what’s at stake in elections. Well, Hillary, we understood just fine, which is why we picked Trump over you. Her arrogance knows no bounds as she tries to push her narrative that only she knows what’s best for the country. Talk about delusional!

It’s no surprise that people like sports commentator Stephen A. Smith are calling her out on her absurd comments. Smith rightfully pointed out that Clinton’s “get over yourself” attitude didn’t work out too well for her in the last election. Despite her popular vote win, she still lost the presidency to Trump. Maybe she should take a hint and learn from her mistakes instead of insulting voters who have already rejected her once.
The fact that Clinton is now dabbling in Broadway productions instead of reflecting on her political failures speaks volumes. She’s more interested in staying in the limelight than in understanding why she lost. It’s time for Hillary to accept reality and stop blaming everyone else for her own shortcomings. But of course, it’s easier for her to play the victim and blame imaginary boogeymen like the “right-wing conspiracy” or Russian collusion than to take responsibility for her own defeat.
In the end, Hillary Rodham Clinton’s inability to connect with voters and her elitist attitude continue to be her downfall. Instead of truly listening to the concerns of the American people, she chooses to mock them and dismiss their opinions. If she ever hopes to regain any credibility, she needs to start treating voters with respect and humility. But until then, she’ll remain a laughingstock and a cautionary tale in American politics.
