Well, it looks like the Democrats and their loyal lapdogs are in hot water yet again. The House Judiciary Committee is preparing to decide whether to hold President Biden’s ghostwriter, Mark Zwonitzer, in contempt of Congress for stonewalling their investigation. This vote, set for Thursday, is the latest chapter in the GOP’s efforts to bring transparency to Biden’s murky handling of classified documents.
Chairman Jim Jordan, a name that strikes fear into the hearts of liberal bureaucrats everywhere, issued a subpoena back in March demanding Zwonitzer hand over transcripts and recordings from his cozy chats with Sleepy Joe. These weren’t just casual conversations; they were the interviews tied to Biden’s memoirs, and guess what? Those memoirs may contain classified information Biden allegedly whispered to his ghostwriter.
The special counsel, Robert Hur, spilled some beans in his report, hinting that Biden had read classified material from his personal notebook during the interviews. Instead of coming clean, Zwonitzer attempted to play hide-and-seek with the evidence. Enveloping himself in a fog of liberal deceit, he tried to conceal some recordings and transcripts. Classic move.

But Sleepy Joe, as always, remains in denial. Biden insists he never shared classified materials with his ghostwriter. Sure, and the Easter Bunny is real. The House Republicans have been relentlessly pursuing justice, repeatedly demanding transcripts and recordings linked to Hur’s report. Although the transcript from Biden’s interview with Hur was released in March, Zwonitzer’s refusal to comply continues to hamper the committee’s investigation.
The GOP’s frustration is palpable. Lawmakers argue that Zwonitzer’s obstruction has stalled their ability to scrutinize the Special Counsel’s findings and assess the Justice Department’s commitment to impartiality. The materials Zwonitzer is withholding could shed light on just how egregiously Biden mishandled classified documents and whether the ghostwriter himself engaged in any questionable conduct.
In another twist of political drama, the House already voted to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt earlier this month for refusing to hand over Hur’s interview recordings with Biden. The Justice Department, displaying its predictable bias, declined to prosecute Garland. The swamp doesn’t drain itself, folks.
The Washington Times contacted Zwonitzer’s attorney for a comment, but if history tells us anything, it’ll probably be more dodging and deflecting. Stay tuned as the GOP continues its battle against the deep state and pushes for the accountability that American patriots deserve.
