Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, has caused quite the stir on Capitol Hill. After being subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee, Hunter decided to throw some serious shade by making a statement to the media and then jetting off, refusing to attend the deposition on the House side of the Capitol. Classic Hunter move.

In an unexpected fashion, Hunter’s attorneys demanded that he only testify in a public hearing, rejecting the regular procedure of a closed-door deposition. Of course, Republicans agreed to a public hearing because we’re all about fairness and transparency. But Hunter couldn’t even comply with that. Total disrespect!
The gall of this guy! Not only did Hunter refuse to answer any questions from the media about trying to sell the family name or whether he asked his father for a pardon, but he also had the audacity to deny any financial involvement from his own father in his business. This whole situation is beginning to smell worse than a swamp on a hot summer day.
Let’s not forget that President Biden previously claimed he never discussed business with his precious son. However, in a turn of events, Hunter insisted that his father had no financial involvement in his business. So, who’s telling the truth here? These Bidens need to get their stories straight!
All the while, House Republicans are shaking their heads in disappointment, talking about contempt proceedings and demanding Hunter comes in for that deposition. We love a good showdown, don’t we?
And just when you thought the drama couldn’t get any juicier, it’s mentioned that Hunter was indicted on federal tax evasion charges. It’s like a never-ending soap opera with these Bidens.
Meanwhile, House Speaker Mike Johnson is rallying the troops for a vote to open an impeachment inquiry into President Biden. The facts apparently don’t lie, and it looks like the wheels are turning in the direction of getting some much-needed answers for the American people.
