Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich recently wrote an opinion piece for Fox News saying that Hunter Biden is likely to have a big impact on the 2024 presidential race. Gingrich says that the different stories about Hunter and President Joe Biden are likely to help former President Donald Trump win both the Republican presidential primary and the US presidency. In his piece, Gingrich talked about the recent deal between Hunter Biden and Joe Biden's Department of Justice (DOJ). Hunter Biden will not go to jail because he pleaded guilty to tax and gun-related crimes.
In his piece, Gingrich compares the DOJ's harsh treatment of Trump to this lenient treatment. Trump is currently facing 400 years in prison for alleged crimes related to classified papers. Other people, like Hillary Clinton, have not been charged for similar crimes.
Gingrich says that the way the Biden government uses the justice system will be bad for politics. It will only make former President Trump stronger and make President Biden weaker.
Gingrich also points out that Hunter Biden's tax and gun crimes aren't that big of a deal compared to some of the other charges he and the Biden family are facing.
Even more important are Gingrich's questions: "What did Hunter Biden do to make enough money after taxes to pay more than $2 million in taxes and penalties? This leads to the question, "What has he been making from his supposed art, and who has been paying for it?" The answers to these questions are still unknown. Gingrich, on the other hand, said that Americans won't let the Bidens get away with everything in 2024.
Gingrich says that Americans will turn to Trump as a symbol of how "Americans are attacked and oppressed by their own government." It's sad to see how the Bidens hide behind their power and connections and face little to no consequences for any wrongdoings they may have done. But it's good to know that Gingrich warns Americans about what might happen if they keep ignoring the Biden family's problems and behaviors.
