This declaration directly contradicts evidence put forth by House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Republican from Louisiana, which suggests that President Biden indeed has financial ties to the Biden family business.

In addition to the financial allegations, Johnson also pointed to instances where Joe Biden was involved in the family business beyond just the money trail. He alleged that Joe Biden had frequent interactions with Hunter’s business associates and blatantly lied about his involvement.
In response to a subpoena for an interview with impeachment inquiry investigators, Hunter Biden refused to sit down with them, further enraging conservative lawmakers. House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer and Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan threatened to hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress for his refusal to cooperate, a move that could result in a hefty fine and even imprisonment.
