He has positioned himself with the mandate to enforce tougher immigration policies, and while outrage may bubble over from the left-leaning media and progressive elites, it seems a significant portion of Hispanic voters also favors these measures—underscoring a crisis at the border that’s been spiraling for quite some time. One might think that the specter of deportation would send illegal aliens scrambling to find their suitcases and dash for the nearest exit before Inauguration Day. Surprisingly, that’s not the case for all.
In a recent spectacle worthy of a Saturday Night Live skit, CNN stumbled across an illegal immigrant who not only supports Trump but is unafraid of the consequences. This unexpected revelation has sent jaws dropping and eyes squinting in disbelief, proving once again that Democrats, led by the likes of Kamala Harris, are so out of touch that even those who shouldn’t be in the country recognize her campaign as a train wreck. The mere fact that this individual supports Trump suggests that even within the illegal immigrant community, the allure of law and order and economic stability trumps the perceived benefits of progressive policies.

Yet, instead of applauding this shift in sentiment, the left remains determined to pounce on this man as nothing more than an anomaly.
While the liberal elite may continue to dismiss this support as a fluke, the reality is that even those living in the shadows appreciate the economic climate fostered by Trump’s policies. It’s a baffling conundrum for progressives who often claim altruistic intentions while simultaneously ignoring the chaos that permeates impoverished communities and neighborhoods affected by rampant gang activity—problems that seem to matter only to those living in affluent enclaves. Even illegal immigrants recognize the threats posed by the current state of affairs, a rude awakening for those who thought they had the monopoly on immigrant support.
As for Kamala Harris, her inability to connect with even this group of voters reveals a stunning lack of political acumen that should send alarm bells ringing within Democratic ranks. While there are reports suggesting that illegal immigrants have made their way onto voter registration rolls in some states, that only highlights the broader issues in play. Overall, the disastrous response to Trump’s potential deportation strategy showcases the startling gap between what the left believes and the reality faced by many in the country, both legal and illegal alike.
