Owner Sam Mardaie watched helplessly as the unruly mob tore through his store, wreaking havoc on everything in their path. The shelves lay in ruins, the once pristine grocery items reduced to nothing but scraps. To add insult to injury, a staggering $25,000 in cash vanished from the store’s register and ATM, a cruel blow to an already struggling business.
