Indictment BOOSTS Trump: Dems’ Plan Backfires, GOP Unphased!

Former President Donald Trump, a silent leader, has resurfaced into the spotlight by blowing away his rivals in the race for the Republican Presidential nomination. Even a federal indictment earlier this week did not stop him from taking a commanding lead with a whopping 61 percent of the likely GOP primary voters. The left continues to engage with insanity by believing that indicting Trump would negatively affect his poll numbers. Democrats have yet to learn that doing the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.

The latest CBS/YouGov poll revealed some alarming news for the Democrats. When likely GOP primary voters surveyed were asked if the recent indictment would change their opinion of Trump, 61 percent of them responded that it has not changed a thing. Trump has also been indicted in New York City earlier this year on charges of falsifying business records with negative implications on his Republican Presidential nomination run. But things changed post-indictment, with Trump taking a commanding lead over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Notably, average Republican likely voters know that political vindictiveness is behind the latest indictment in the federal classified documents case. A remarkable 76 percent of those polled believe that this is politically motivated, while only 12 percent believe the documents at Mar-a-Lago were a national security risk. Clearly, the Democrats are coming for Trump, but they are coming after the people.

Donald Trump hit the campaign trail once again and spoke at the North Carolina and Georgia Republican conventions over the weekend. He gave a stark warning to both audiences about what the indictment really is. In Georgia, Trump called it the “final battle” with “corrupt forces” trying to destroy the nation. In North Carolina, he stated what many of the audience believed about the Democrat-led federal government coming for them, not him.

Democrats are terrified of Donald Trump, especially with his latest campaign stop at a local Waffle House where he talked to average Americans. The owner of a restaurant down the street from the Waffle House even presented Trump with meatloaf made from his mother’s recipe. Biden plans to campaign from his basement again, while Trump continues his populist campaign in person. While there is no saying how much this latest poll bump would contribute to Trump’s overall chances, it seems like Democrats will only keep making the same mistakes over and over again.
