Megyn Kelly, the host of SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Show, recently appeared on Newsmax and made some bold claims about the current state of the U.S. government. She suggested that instead of President Joe Biden, it could be former President Barack Obama who is pulling the strings behind the scenes. Kelly mentioned that there are many people who believe the Obamas are already running the government in a shadow puppet situation.
To be honest, it’s not that far-fetched of an idea. Ever since Biden took office, there have been questions about whether he is truly making all the decisions or if someone else is calling the shots. One major factor that supports this theory is Biden’s questionable health. It’s no secret that he doesn’t appear to be in the best shape, leading many to doubt his ability to effectively govern.
Furthermore, Biden has surrounded himself with former Obama administration officials like Susan Rice. This only adds fuel to the fire and makes it seem like Obama might still have a significant influence within the government. Not to mention, Obama himself once made a comment about being perfectly fine with having a stand-in and being in the basement in his sweats. Could this have been a hint at his continued involvement in politics?
But it doesn’t stop there. Kelly also discussed the possibility of former First Lady Michelle Obama becoming the Democrats’ nominee for the 2024 presidential election. According to Kelly, many Democrats believe Michelle Obama is their strongest leader and their big hope. However, Kelly believes Republicans would be highly motivated to vote against her.
Of course, the White House was quick to dismiss Kelly’s statements and even took a jab at her. A White House spokesperson responded to her remarks by asking, “Who is Megan Kelley? Is she a Whole Foods employee?” It’s typical for the left to deflect and attack when they don’t have a valid argument.
Overall, Kelly’s claims may sound outrageous to some, but when you connect the dots, it’s not entirely implausible to think that Barack Obama still has a significant role in running the country. Whether it’s through direct involvement or influencing Biden’s decisions, the idea certainly warrants further consideration. And as for Michelle Obama’s potential presidential run, Republicans better gear up for battle because the thought of her in the Oval Office is a nightmare for conservatives.
