Israel’s enemies are spreading lies by accusing the only Jewish nation of genocide. Genocide is a serious crime that aims to destroy a particular group of people, like what the Nazis did to the Jews during World War II. The United Nations defines genocide as intentionally trying to destroy a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group.
Some groups are wrongly accusing Israel of genocide as a tactic in their own political warfare. These false accusations are not based on facts but are driven by hatred towards Israel and its people. It’s important to be clear that Israel’s actions are responses to attacks by groups like Hamas, who target Israeli civilians.
