JD Vance, the Republican vice-presidential nominee, has called for President Joe Biden to step down now that the 81-year-old has announced he is no longer pursuing reelection. Vance argues that if Biden is too mentally unfit to campaign, he should also recognize he is unfit to hold the office. After all, if the incumbent president believes he cannot stand for another term, then what justification does he have for continuing to occupy the White House?
