It appears Vance, not Trump, is the one who has managed to charm a segment of the population that usually wouldn’t be caught dead in a red MAGA hat.
On the debate stage, Vance caught attention and praise, with reactions on social media resembling a frenzied fan club for the Ohio senator. Some commentators on Gay Twitter whipped themselves into a frenzy, declaring Vance a potential candidate in the eyes of many partygoers, tossing out labels like “hot AF” and imagining him as the perfect Vice President. With some folks even suggesting the senator’s pink tie was a coded message, one has to wonder just how seriously they’re taking their fashion critiques—or if they’re just a little too eager to speculate.

Vance’s transformation from an awkward teenager to a confident contender hasn’t gone unnoticed. Gone are the chubby days; now, he exudes charisma and athleticism, which is hard to miss with that chiseled jawline and salt-and-pepper beard that somehow screams both fatherly wisdom and a night on the town. It’s astounding how far a little hard work in the gym can take someone, and if Vance’s commanding stage presence against opponent Tim Walz is any indication, he’s definitely put in his time.
