Jill Biden Races to Salvage Joe’s Struggling Campaign

In yet another episode of the Biden family circus, First Lady Jill Biden has donned her cape to rescue Joe from his latest floundering escapade—a presidential campaign that looks more like a sinking ship. Following a debate disaster that sparked a wave of calls for Biden to hang up his political boots, Jill’s stepping in to shoulder the burden. Who knew the role of First Lady included crisis manager for presidential incoherence?

This week alone, Jill Biden has jetted around to three states, launched a new military outreach program, and phoned in to defend her husband’s faltering campaign against the inevitable brute force of Trump. One might ponder whether the Bidens are a package deal. Perhaps she’s working overtime because even she knows his chances are as slim as an ice cube in the Sahara.

Before the infamous debate that had Biden fumbling over basic sentences, Jill had already been pounding the campaign trail. It’s no secret that Joe’s family has become the lifebuoy to keep him afloat in a sea of Democratic doubt. His clan insists he stays in the race, even as a growing number of party operatives and lawmakers question his viability. Sen. Peter Welch and Hollywood mouthpiece George Clooney are just a couple of the notable figures practically begging Biden to call it quits. Yet, here’s Jill, trotting from state to state like a one-woman cheerleading squad.

In one of her more notable escapades, Jill Biden was in Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina to roll out the Veterans and Military Families for Biden-Harris initiative. Finding the nearest stage to proclaim her undying support for Joe, she practically pleaded with voters not to repeat the “horror” of Trump’s 2016 election victory. It seems her rallying cry is less about Joe’s competence and more about liberal panic—anything to avoid the dreaded Trump Derangement Syndrome relapse.

Her travels took a turn for the theatrical in Tampa, where she scolded a gaggle of reporters for being too aggressive. Her words amounted to a rebuke and an escape plan, as she quickly departed without addressing the meat of their questions.

The next day, Jill joined a campaign call to attempt a weak contrast between Biden and Trump’s stances on abortion. She didn’t stick around for the hard questions, perhaps too busy preparing Joe’s cue cards or keeping Hunter out of trouble. Meanwhile, during a White House briefing, Karine Jean-Pierre was busy hushing up inquiries about Jill’s role and her influence over Joe’s decisions. Seems like even the spokesperson is tired of playing damage control for the Biden bunch.

As if the optics couldn’t get any worse, rumors circulated about Jill having her own dramatic entrance music, courtesy of the Marine Corps band. Because why not add a little more flair to this political debacle? The Biden campaign, unsurprisingly, dismissed any controversy, sticking to scripted lines about Jill’s so-called asset status.

Not one to let a good scandal go to waste, Donald Trump has started including Jill Biden in his rhetorical takedowns. At a rally, he humorously suggested that Jill and Hunter are the ones pulling the presidential strings behind the scenes. All in all, as the Bidens scramble to patch up their campaign leaks, one has to wonder if even Jill’s superwoman routine can save this sinking ship.
