In a scathing commentary on Bud Light’s plummeting sales, Joe Rogan didn’t hold back his opinions on Dylan Mulvaney, whom he called an “attention whore” and deemed “mentally ill.” And let’s be honest, folks, Rogan hit the nail on the head with that one.
It all started when Bud Light decided to feature transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney on their promotional can. What a brilliant idea, right? Wrong. It turned out to be a disaster, with a months-long boycott and bad publicity driving the brand into the ground. Even holiday weekends couldn’t provide any relief.
Just leading up to the extended July 4 weekend, Bud Light’s sales were down a whopping 27.9%. That’s enough to make any CEO cry into their beer. And speaking of beer, Bud Light even lost its spot as America’s most popular brand, being surpassed by Modelo Especial. How embarrassing!

After facing backlash and accusations of transphobia, Mulvaney released a video statement talking about the “bullying” and “transphobia” he’s faced. Give me a break. This person seems to have a flair for the dramatics, talking about being scared to leave their house and feeling lonely. How about focusing on making good beer instead of playing the victim?
And let’s not forget about Joe Rogan, who had some choice words for Mulvaney on his show. Rogan pointed out the absurdity of Bud Light’s decision and questioned the leadership behind it. He even touched on the problematic corporate system that prioritizes inclusivity over common sense. It’s refreshing to have someone like Rogan who isn’t afraid to speak the truth.
Rogan didn’t mince his words when he called Mulvaney “mentally ill” and an “attention whore.” And honestly, folks, it’s hard to argue with him. Putting someone’s “365 days of womanhood” on a beer can is just plain ridiculous. Bud Light used to be for blue-collar drinking people who liked to watch football, not for pandering to the whims of the politically correct crowd.
So, Bud Light, take a lesson from this debacle. Quit trying to ruin iconic American brands and start focusing on making good beer again. And please, for the love of all that’s cold and refreshing, leave the mentally ill attention seekers off your cans. Cheers to that!
