Her fans, believing they’ve struck a blow for inclusivity, may not realize that their unwavering support has effectively asked every American to welcome an unknown number of strangers into their communities. Playground parks once filled with the laughter of children are now home to unfamiliar faces, and subway rides that once felt secure have turned into a game of “guess the nationality.”
If that sounds like a scary proposition, it should. Yet, those staunch Harris supporters are often seen turning a blind eye to the rising crime rates, cultural conflicts, and economic strains that have arisen as a direct result of this open border policy. The irony is thick: they demand a welcoming spirit from everyone else while approaching the idea of lodging migrants in their own homes with about as much enthusiasm as a cat meeting a bathtub. They truly had great intentions—until those intentions asked them to sacrifice their own comfort.
Meanwhile, cities like Chicago face the fallout of this irresponsible policy. Local leaders are fielding complaints as taxpayers scramble to figure out why billions are being funneled to illegal immigrants. Among the chaos, reports suggest that criminal gangs, such as the Tren de Araugua from Venezuela, are exploiting the situation, blending into the newly arrived migrant communities. This startling revelation raises serious questions about just how well Americans know those they’re defending.
Amid this absurdity, the Biden-Harris administration has literally put a halt to border wall construction and let the materials rust away, as if dismantling the very concept of secure borders is a national sport. At the end of the day, one can’t help but feel a little vindicated seeing Harris supporters get a firsthand lesson in the consequences of their cheerleading.
