Scheduled for her grand entrance at 12:15 p.m., one has to wonder if her speech will lean more into the realm of leadership or just another performance of verbal gymnastics that seems to be the hallmark of her many public appearances.

If voting has already begun in some states, the stakes couldn’t be higher for Harris and the Democrats. Despite the tight margins, one can’t help but chuckle at the idea of Harris trying to convince a room full of Hispanic leaders that she’s the right gal for the job. After all, they’ve had the chance to witness her “leadership” firsthand. Whether her past actions have spoken volumes is up for debate, but there’s little doubt that her words today will be carefully crafted to align with the party line, rather than any genuine reflection of her record in office.
While the political landscape continues to shift like quicksand, many Americans are left wondering if the Democrats can pull it off this time. Will Harris’s speech be a game changer or just another episode of the ongoing reality show that is the Biden administration?
