In stark contrast to the upbeat atmosphere she and her fellow Democrats attempted to project during their recent national convention in Chicago, Harris kicked off her speech with a furious tirade against Trump, leading with an outlandish assertion that he would wield the U.S. military against American citizens. It appears Harris has opted for drama over substance, painting Trump as a cartoon villain consumed by his own instability and a quest for revenge rather than offering any constructive ideas for American families.
