Oh boy, here we go again. The Vice President strikes once more with her pathetic attempts at making headlines. It’s no surprise that Kamala Harris has found a way to turn a simple middle school curriculum into yet another opportunity to play the victim card.
According to CNN’s political analyst, Scott Jennings, Harris made a fool of herself by claiming that the Florida middle school syllabus included content suggesting that enslaved individuals somehow “profited from slavery.” Can you believe that? It’s almost laughable how these left-wing politicians will grasp at any straw to push their divisive agenda.
Of course, CNN was quick to jump to Harris’ defense, with political commentator Karen Finney praising her remarks as a “stellar moment.” Seriously? Are we living in the same universe here? It’s absolutely ludicrous to suggest that there were any personal benefits for slaves. It’s like saying women were happy when they couldn’t vote or have their own banking accounts. Utterly ridiculous.
Yesterday, @abcnews aired a very small section of their interview with a member of Florida’s African American History Standards Workgroup, Dr. William B. Allen.
Here’s more of the interview, where Dr. Allen debunks @VP’s narrative and calls her criticism “categorically false.”🧵 pic.twitter.com/hPFbKNZPs1

Dana Bash, host of CNN’s “State of the Union,” had the audacity to ask Jennings for his reaction to Democrats’ calls for Harris to increase her public visibility. Well, let me tell you, it’s mind-boggling how little Harris apparently has to do that she can make a big fuss over a fabricated issue. Jennings looked into the standards himself and even read the statements of African-American scholars who wrote the curriculum. Surprise, surprise, they all said it was a completely made-up deal!
But wait, it gets even better. Governor Ron DeSantis’ Press Secretary, Jeremy Redfern, pointed out that Dr. William B. Allen, one of the members of Florida’s African American History Standards Workgroup, went on ABC News and called Harris’ remarks “categorically false.” The good doctor explained that it was never said that slavery was beneficial to Africans. Instead, it was recognized that Africans showed resilience and adaptability, developing skills that served to their benefit both during and after slavery. It’s amazing how Harris managed to twist the truth to fit her narrative.
It’s no wonder that we have such a divided nation when we have leaders like Kamala Harris who are willing to distort facts and create needless controversy over race. Instead of promoting unity and the nation’s ideals of freedom and equality, she continues to play the victim and keep us apart. America deserves better than this. We deserve leaders who will bring us together, not tear us apart. Let’s hope we find them soon.
