Conservative media outlets were quick to jump on the leftist media’s outrage over NBC News hiring former RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel as a commentator. It was a whole “to-do” as the lefties collectively lost their minds over this hire. And yes, NBC News had also brought on Jen Psaki, former press secretary for the Biden administration, but did the mainstream media raise a fuss about that? Of course not! Talk about a double standard!

Psaki, not content with her role as the host of “Inside with Jen Psaki,” felt the need to address the comparisons between her and McDaniel, with a straight face no less. She went on about her entry into public service, working for Obama and later for Biden, emphasizing her “grueling” experience in the White House. But come on, anyone who saw her press briefings knows that “grueling” is not the word that comes to mind. Maybe “evasive” or “spin doctor,” but not “grueling.”
Psaki had the audacity to suggest that her experience “only matters and only has value to viewers if it is paired with honesty and with good faith.” This coming from someone who has a history of lying to the American people and being sarcastic with reporters. She even had the nerve to quote Liz Cheney, a notorious opponent of President Trump, in an attempt to lecture about the importance of honesty. The hypocrisy is just dripping from those statements.
And let’s not forget Psaki’s infamous spin on Hunter Biden’s laptop as Russian disinformation and her dismissive attitude towards protests at the homes of conservative justices. Oh, and who could overlook her calling Fox News’ Peter Doocy “a stupid son of a bitch”? Classy, Psaki, real classy.
Psaki continued to prattle on even after McDaniel was no longer with NBC, reposting others’ comments to defend herself. But the truth is clear: Psaki’s attempt to differentiate herself from McDaniel falls flat when her own credibility and honesty are seriously in question. It seems like NBC News has no problem embracing dishonesty and hypocrisy, as long as it fits their narrative. And that’s just shameful!
