Texas Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar is fed up with President Joe Biden’s border crisis failures and wants something to be done. Cuellar, whose district is located on the border with Mexico, accuses Biden of ignoring him because he knows Cuellar understands the severity of the situation.

Cuellar criticizes the Biden administration for not highlighting the high number of deportations as a way to deter other border crossers and prove that action is being taken. He suggests using Title 8, a section of the U.S. immigration code, to detain and deport individuals and share videos of the deportations.
Cuellar is pushing for more funding for deportation efforts and believes that the failure to deport in large numbers is encouraging illegal immigration. He acknowledges the resentment felt among Hispanics and Democrats who followed the law and believes that this border crisis is hurting Biden’s chances of re-election.
The situation at the border continues to worsen, with record-breaking numbers of encounters reported. Even Democrats, including Hispanic voters, are expressing disappointment with Biden’s handling of the border crisis.
