The annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Manhattan is about to take a turn for the worse, according to reports. This cherished national tradition will now be infiltrated by the transgender agenda and spotlighted by one of Hollywood’s biggest liberals, Cher. Yes, Cher, the same woman who vowed to leave the United States if former President Donald Trump was re-elected. It’s ironic that she will now be performing for a country that she regularly insults.
Adding insult to injury, the parade will also feature actors from two Broadway shows, “Juliet” and “Shucked,” who identify as “non-binary.” These individuals, Justin David Sullivan and Alex Newell, respectively, have taken it upon themselves to confuse the world with their multiple gender identities.

The Western Journal notes that Sullivan, who plays the non-binary character “May” in “Juliet,” declined being considered for a Tony Award because the awards are gender-specific. Such dedication to the cause, right?
As for Newell, the actor who portrays Lulu in “Shucked,” also identifies with multiple gender pronouns. However, that didn’t stop him from gladly accepting a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. It seems selective adherence to gender fluidity is a common theme among these performers.
This isn’t the first time the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has welcomed openly gay performers. In 2020, the Lesbian & Gay Big Apple Corps became the first LGBTQ group to perform, according to The Atlantic. But let’s be honest, a marching ensemble’s sexual orientation doesn’t make much of a difference to the average viewer. However, two openly opinionated Broadway actors might be a different story.
It’s no surprise that this news has sparked criticism on social media. The left has seized another opportunity to disrupt a cherished national holiday. Thanksgiving, a holiday dedicated to faith in God and gratitude for the blessings of living in a free nation, is being targeted by the left’s agenda. While many American families understand and appreciate the true meaning of Thanksgiving, it seems the organizers of the Macy’s Parade are too blinded by their own progressive beliefs to see the damage they are causing to this beloved tradition.
