The mainstream media has proven once again to be the loyal lapdogs of the Democratic Party, bending over backwards to cover up the clear signs of Joe Biden’s mental and physical decline. It’s almost as if Biden’s team handed out a cheat sheet to the press, spelling out exactly how to ignore the president’s obvious gaffes and missteps. It’s a miracle that any mention of his struggles made it past the editing room, given how ferociously they cling to their playbook.
Of course, this cozy relationship between the media and Democratic officials is nothing new. After all, it’s far easier to maintain the illusion of a competent leader when your friends in the newsrooms are working overtime to spin the story. Whether it’s fumbling through speeches or forgetting important names, Biden’s blunders are swiftly swept under the rug, thanks to the diligent efforts of left-leaning journalists. If only they showed the same enthusiasm for covering real issues affecting everyday Americans.

While the media continues its charade, one can’t help but wonder where the fact-checkers have gone. They were omnipresent during the previous administration, meticulously dissecting every word out of President Trump’s mouth. Now, they seem to have gone on an extended vacation, conveniently blind to Biden’s frequent lapses. The selective scrutiny is nothing short of remarkable.
Elected Democrats are clearly in on the act as well, crafting talking points that paint a rosy picture of Biden’s leadership. Their synchronized messaging makes it easier for their media counterparts to regurgitate the narrative without skipping a beat. It’s a well-oiled machine designed to keep the public in the dark and maintain a facade of normalcy.
In the meantime, conservatives are left shaking their heads at the sheer audacity of it all. The double standard is glaring, and the American people deserve better than a media circus colluding with politicians to shield a faltering president. But as long as the mainstream press continues to do the bidding of their preferred party, expect the show to go on.
