Perhaps she’s just choosing to binge-watch her favorite shows from the comfort of her couch, avoiding another stint in the limelight that might require shaking hands with the man who won the presidency while her husband held the reins for eight years.
On a more optimistic note, the soon-to-be First Lady Melania Trump is all-in for her new role and is reportedly itching to set up shop in the White House. Unlike during her husband’s first term, Mrs. Trump has made clear she’s more than ready to roll up her sleeves and dive into the responsibilities of being First Lady. She’s apparently already selected the furniture and packed her bags, which could make for quite the spectacle when the packing crates begin rolling through the gates of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

She directly opposed the careless spending habits of previous administrations by promising to keep her office lean and efficient.
