It appears that NPR, the so-called “public” radio station, has been caught red-handed in their biased anti-Trump agenda. Former senior business editor Uri Berliner revealed that NPR’s coverage under the Trump administration was essentially a shameless attempt to undermine his presidency, with the Hunter Biden laptop story being just the tip of the biased iceberg.
NPR Editor Reveals Why Station Ignored Hunter Biden Laptop Story – ‘The Laptop Was Newsworthy’ https://t.co/EJDju58clE

When the bombshell New York Post expose on Hunter Biden’s laptop emerged in October 2020, NPR made the conscious decision to turn a blind eye to the scandalous details that sent shockwaves through the political landscape. This decision was made despite the authenticity of the laptop’s contents being later confirmed, exposing Hunter Biden’s murky connections to the world of corrupt influence peddling and potentially implicating his father, then-candidate Joe Biden.
What’s even more appalling is that NPR’s managing editor at the time justified their refusal to cover the story by dismissing it as a mere distraction and not a “real story.” This flimsy excuse reeks of a deliberate attempt to shield the Bidens from scrutiny and protect Joe Biden’s presidential campaign as the election drew near.
Moreover, Berliner pointed out that NPR’s biased reporting didn’t stop at the Hunter Biden laptop debacle. He highlighted the station’s blatant alignment with Trump’s antagonist, Representative Adam Schiff, throughout the Russian collusion hoax. Schiff’s talking points became the driving force behind NPR’s news reports, illustrating the station’s lack of independence and critical thinking.
NPR’s dismissal of the lab leak theory for the origin of COVID-19 and their coverage of Israel’s conflict with Hamas also came under fire for prioritizing a politically charged narrative over objective journalism. This wholesale adoption of the “oppressor versus oppressed” narrative and the downplaying of Hamas’s intentional endangerment of Palestinian civilians raise serious questions about NPR’s commitment to unbiased reporting.
In response to Berliner’s scathing assessment, NPR’s acting chief content officer, Edith Chapin, predictably defended the station’s integrity. However, her feeble defense does little to assuage the concerns raised about NPR’s journalistic standards and its blatant left-leaning bias.
It’s high time for NPR to be held accountable for their flagrant bias and manipulation of the news. The American public deserves fair and balanced reporting, not a partisan agenda masquerading as public service.
