White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has had a rough week. She received criticism for not forcefully addressing anti-Semitism during Monday’s press briefing. In her defense, she claimed that she misheard a question, even though several questions about the subject were asked that day. But the facts tell a different story.
The NYPD provided an update on hate crime statistics and revealed that there have been 51 hate crimes reported in the city since October 9. Out of those 51 incidents, 30 of them were anti-Jewish crimes. This is a significant increase compared to the same period in 2022 when there were only six anti-Jewish incidents reported. So much for the claim that there are no credible threats against the Jewish community.
Recent Update of NYC Hate Crimes Don't Do KJP's Narrative Any Favors

The numbers don’t lie. Reports of hate crimes against Jews have been on the rise since the conflict in the Middle East escalated. But despite these alarming statistics, Jean-Pierre continues to conflate the issue of anti-Semitism with Islamophobia. This false narrative is not only misleading but also dismisses the disproportionate number of hate crimes against Jews. According to FBI statistics, Jews experience over five times more hate crimes than Muslims.
It’s not just Jean-Pierre who is pushing this misguided narrative. The Biden administration and their allies in the mainstream media are also guilty of tying the two concerns together. But the numbers speak for themselves, and it’s clear that anti-Semitism is a unique and pervasive evil that deserves unequivocal condemnation.
The lack of concern shown by Jean-Pierre and the Biden administration is deeply troubling. It’s not just a matter of mishearing a question; it’s a failure to acknowledge the very real threats faced by the Jewish community. The Jewish community has been targeted with horrific acts of violence, and for the White House to claim that there are no credible threats is absurd.
It’s time for the Biden administration to take a stand against anti-Semitism and ensure that law enforcement resources are dedicated to protecting Jewish-Americans. The Jewish community is feeling the effects of this hatred acutely, and it’s about time that the White House recognizes and addresses this growing problem. The Democrat Party needs to distance themselves from the far-left elements that are perpetuating this anti-Semitic rhetoric. It’s time for the Biden administration to open their eyes to the reality of the situation and take action to protect the Jewish community.
