Looks like the left’s favorite superhero, President Joe Biden, just got a cold shoulder from his former sidekick, Barack Obama. The supposedly unbeatable Democratic duo seems to be malfunctioning, and not even Hollywood’s George Clooney can fix it. While many left-wing media outlets and leaders are begging Biden to quit after his disastrous debate performance on June 27, Obama is doing his best impression of a mime: staying silent.
Politico reported Thursday that Clooney sought Obama’s blessing before penning an op-ed in The New York Times urging Biden to step down. The actor didn’t get any pushback from the former president, who has chosen to sit this one out. Clearly, Obama’s silence speaks volumes louder than any endorsement possibly could.
Clooney, who hobnobs with the Democratic elite, including Obama, Julia Roberts, and Jimmy Kimmel, at a recent fundraiser, made no bones about it in his article. He lamented that the Biden he met three weeks ago isn’t the “big F-ing deal” Biden from back in 2010. Apparently, Biden has gone from being a “big deal” to barely showing up to the debate. With friends like these, who needs Republicans?
In Clooney’s opinion, Biden’s showing at the debate was a disaster—and it’s not like the public didn’t notice. It’s like the Democratic Party is trying to convince everyone that what they saw with their own eyes wasn’t real. Sure, Biden might have been tired or had a cold, but Clooney insists that age is the real issue. And let’s face it, age isn’t something a nap or chicken soup can fix.
So, where does this leave Biden? Ostracized within his own party, especially when his old buddy Obama is opting to remain on the sidelines. This upcoming Democratic National Convention in Chicago is shaping up to be a showdown, and without Obama’s backing, Biden’s chances are looking grimmer by the day.

As if internal strife isn’t enough, the Democrats are now voicing the same concerns conservatives have been shouting about since 2020. If Biden can’t get it together, could another round of Trump be on the horizon? If looks could kill, Obama’s lack of enthusiasm might just be the fatal blow to Biden’s re-election hopes.
So, while Clooney and the rest of the Hollywood glitterati are scratching their heads and wondering where the old Biden went, the rest of America might just be getting ready for an encore performance from Donald Trump. Buckle up, folks. The coming election cycle is about to get very interesting.
