Keith Olbermann, the gift that keeps on giving to us right-wing folks, has once again shown his true colors by allegedly hinting at wishing for the assassination of Donald Trump. When Trump mentioned he was treated worse than Abraham Lincoln, Olbermann’s response was chilling, saying, “There’s always hope.” Later, he tried to backtrack by saying he hopes Trump dies in prison. Really, Keith? That’s your idea of a sane response to political disagreements?

Let’s not forget, this is the same guy who used to talk sports but has now jumped headfirst into the world of political commentary. His comments reflect a dangerous trend among some on the left who view their political opponents not as fellow Americans with different opinions, but as enemies to be eliminated.
