Former Vice President Mike Pence recently engaged in a fiery exchange with CNN host Kaitlan Collins. Collins, a typical member of the liberal media that is always obsessed with Donald Trump, badgered Pence to defend his former boss’s controversial remarks. It’s no surprise that Pence, being a gentleman and a true conservative, refused to play into Collins’s game.

Collins insisted that Pence weigh in on Trump’s criticism of General Mark Milley, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Milley, who clearly has an ax to grind with Trump, called him a “wannabe dictator” in his outgoing remarks. Now, let’s just stop right there. The audacity of Milley to make such inflammatory comments about a President who did so much for our great nation is just mind-boggling. But of course, Collins wouldn’t dare question Milley’s motives. No, she only wanted to badger Pence about his thoughts on the matter.

Pence did denounce Trump’s comments about Milley as “inexcusable,” but he stopped short of agreeing with Milley’s characterization of Trump. And can you blame him? Trump is a strong leader who put America first. To call him a dictator is not only absurd, but it’s also a slap in the face to all the hardworking patriots who supported him. Nevertheless, Collins persisted in trying to get Pence to admit that Trump is a “wannabe dictator.” But Pence, ever the gentleman, refused to take the bait.
Throughout the interview, Collins seemed determined to keep the focus solely on Trump. She didn’t care about Pence’s presidential campaign or his vision for America. No, all she wanted was to stir up controversy and keep the media’s obsession with Trump alive. It’s frustrating to see the media’s blatant disregard for anything other than their anti-Trump agenda. But Pence handled it with grace and poise, even snidely remarking at one point that if he addressed everything Trump said, he’d “talk about nothing else.” Preach, Pence!
It’s clear that the media will stop at nothing to hold Republicans accountable for every word uttered by Trump. They don’t care about Pence’s campaign or his conservative values. They just want their ratings and their anti-Trump narrative. And let’s not forget that Pence is far from the frontrunner in the 2024 GOP primary. According to RealClearPolitics, he’s in fifth place with only 4% support. Meanwhile, Trump is dominating the field with a whopping 56.5% support. It’s clear who the people want to lead this country once again.
So let the liberal media obsess over Trump and ignore the true conservative voices. Let them chase ratings while real conservatives like Pence focus on restoring America to greatness. In the end, it’s the American people who will have the final say, not the biased media. And we will continue to stand with strong leaders like Trump and Pence who have fought tirelessly for our values and our freedom.
