In the aftermath of the horrific mass murder in Philadelphia, Black Lives Matter (BLM) has resorted to blaming conservatives for the violence perpetrated by one of their own. Kimbrady Carriker, a transgender BLM activist, is culpable for five deaths, including that of a 15-year-old youth. However, instead of accepting responsibility for the actions of their member, BLM is deflecting and accusing conservatives of perpetuating violence by merely sharing images of Carriker in women's attire.

One BLM activist had the audacity to claim that Carriker is not truly transgender, making the situation even more ludicrous. Seriously? This may be the quickest detransition in recorded history. Carriker's choice of name, "Kimbrady," and his penchant for cross-dressing are unmistakable indications that he identifies as transgender. According to BLM, however, we should disregard these clear indicators and assume there is no correlation between Carriker's actions and his gender identity.

At a press conference about the recent mass shooting in Philadelphia, a BLM activist said conservative media is committing verbal "violence" by sharing photos of the shooter wearing women's clothing because he was not really trans.

I am not one to believe these convoluted explanations. A mass shooter who poses as a woman and uses a feminized identity is at large. Let's call a spade a spade. Carriker, like the transgender gunman in Nashville, is most likely suffering from mental delusions. Transgender individuals perpetrating violent acts is a recurring pattern, yet the press and activists are always quick to claim they were not "really" transgender. How practical.
But instead of addressing the actual problem, BLM and far-left trans activists are fast to scapegoat conservatives for highlighting the circumstances they refuse to acknowledge. Sharing information and facts about Carriker's identity is not an act of violence. The violence occurred when he killed and injured innocent people. This should be the focus, rather than attempting to place responsibility on innocent conservatives who are merely questioning and discussing the facts.
It is time for BLM to accept responsibility for their own members and cease attempting to shift culpability to conservatives. We cannot disregard the fact that in recent years there have been multiple transgender mass shooters. This is a concerning trend that must be addressed with candor and without partisan bias. It is time for actual solutions, not pointing fingers, because lives are at stake.
