Abortion giant Planned Parenthood is at it again, trying to undermine pro-life legislation and force their deadly ideology down the throats of unsuspecting women. This time, they’re suing to block a Kansas law that would require abortion providers to inform women of a proven method to reverse the effects of a pill-based medication abortion.

The law would require doctors to inform women that the medication abortion process can be reversed through the use of a pregnancy hormone called progesterone. This treatment, known as Abortion Pill Reversal (APR), has saved the lives of over 3,000 children, according to pro-life organization Live Action. The Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists (AAPLOG) also promotes APR as a safe and effective way to reverse the dangerous effects of medication abortions.

But Planned Parenthood, in their usual hypocritical fashion, claims that requiring doctors to offer this potentially life-saving information is somehow a violation of medical ethics. What about the ethical obligation to inform women of all their options, including the chance to save the life of their unborn child?
It’s not surprising that Planned Parenthood is fighting tooth and nail to block this law. More than half of abortions in the United States are carried out through the medication abortion method, according to the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute. That means Planned Parenthood stands to lose a lot of business if women are given the opportunity to choose life for their children.
But the truth is that the abortion pill is dangerous. A poll showed that the majority of Americans do not believe it was properly vetted to protect women’s health and safety. And now, a proven method exists to reverse the effects of this deadly drug. It’s time for women to have all the information they need to make an informed decision about the future of their unborn child.
Planned Parenthood can try to spin it however they want, but the fact remains: they are on the wrong side of history. As more and more states enact strong protections for unborn babies and mothers, the abortion lobby is desperate to maintain their stranglehold on the abortion industry. But the American people are waking up to the truth about abortion, and no amount of Planned Parenthood propaganda can change that.
