President Joe Biden made it clear in his recent interview on ABC’s “World News Tonight” that he would not be handing out any get-out-of-jail-free cards to his son, Hunter. With Hunter facing some serious legal trouble – and not just from forgetting to do his homework – including charges for fibbing to get a gun and playing hide-and-seek with his taxes, the president stood firm in his decision not to grant any pardons if his son is found guilty.
During the interview in Normandy, France, where Biden was busy honoring our brave heroes from D-Day, anchor David Muir didn’t shy away from the tough questions. He asked the president if he would respect the court’s ruling on Hunter’s case, to which Biden responded with a simple “Yes.” When pressed about the possibility of pardoning Hunter, the president once again shut it down with another firm “Yes.”
Why can’t Joe talk about his son’s “ongoing Federal prosecution”? Joe doesn’t have a gag order as Trump did. Guess they don’t want to speak about the FACTS of Hunter’s lying on the application to own a gun since checks are supposed to curb illegal owner. https://t.co/KFKt42vPHh

It seems like the Biden family is having a bit of a rough time lately. With Hunter in the legal hot seat, the president is standing by the idea that everyone should face the music, no matter who they are. And let’s be honest, if Hunter did the crime, he should do the time – no special treatment just because his dad is the president.
So, as the trials continue and the drama unfolds, it looks like Hunter won’t be getting any magical pardons from dear old Dad. Maybe next time, he’ll think twice before getting himself into these sticky situations. Good luck, Hunter – you might just need it! And President Biden, keep on honoring those heroes in Normandy – they certainly deserve more attention than this family drama.
