Biden’s presidency has been a rollercoaster of crises and blunders, with the economy teetering on the edge and inflation soaring to new heights. It’s hard to see how anyone can paint this picture as “the envy of the world,” as Maddow suggests. Perhaps she’s operating in an alternate reality where gas prices don’t make you question your life choices every time you fill up.
