Vivek Ramaswamy, a bold and fiery conservative running for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, has made an audacious pledge that’s shaking up the political landscape in Colorado. He’s announced that he will pull out of the Colorado primary if former President Donald Trump is not allowed to be on the ballot. Ramaswamy is not afraid to call out the Colorado Supreme Court’s recent ruling that deemed Mr. Trump ineligible to be on the state’s ballot due to alleged insurrection. Ramaswamy straight-up declared that the ruling is nothing short of an “actual attack on Democracy.”

With passion and fervor, Ramaswamy openly criticized the “bipartisan Establishment” for using every trick in the book to keep President Trump out of the race. He highlighted their latest tactic of trying to invoke the 14th Amendment to prevent Trump from seeking public office ever again. In no uncertain terms, Ramaswamy demanded that other prominent GOP figures such as Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley join him in his pledge to withdraw from the Colorado GOP primary. He warned that failure to do so would mean they’re basically giving a thumbs-up to this “illegal maneuver” that could spell disaster for the nation.
While Ramaswamy knows he’s the dark horse in this race, he’s not backing down from championing Trump’s legacy. He boldly proclaimed his unwavering support for Trump, setting himself apart from the other candidates by openly expressing his admiration for the former president. In response to the court’s decision, Ramaswamy didn’t hold back, labeling it as just another underhanded scheme to silence political adversaries and tilt the election in favor of “whatever puppet the Democrats put up.”
