Rep. Steube Slams Biden’s Misleading Rhetoric on SCOTUS Ruling

In a move that left the usual suspects in the mainstream media clutching their pearls, Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) took President Joe Biden and his Democratic cohorts to task regarding their reaction to the Supreme Court’s recent decision on presidential immunity. With the high court ruling 6-3 in favor of presumptive immunity for all official acts by former presidents, the stage has been set for another classic episode of Democrats Distort Reality.

Predictably, Biden rushed to his teleprompter to rail against the decision, claiming it means presidents will no longer be bound by the law. Steube, rolling his eyes so hard they nearly fell out of his head, hit back by accusing Biden of misleading voters with another round of Democrat fearmongering. According to Steube, this kind of panic-inducing rhetoric is standard fare for the left, who seem to think scaring the pants off Americans is the only way to get their dwindling base to the polls.

The congressman didn’t mince words when he appeared on Fox & Friends, calling out the Democrats’ tired tactic of making Trump the boogeyman. Steube pointed out that every time the left launches another legal assault on Trump, his poll numbers actually go up. This, Steube argued, is a clear indication that the American people aren’t buying what Biden and his buddies are selling. It’s about time, Steube noted, that the Supreme Court has stepped in to put a little old-fashioned lawfulness back in play.

And if there’s anyone who can remind us of what true presidential conduct looks like, it’s Trump. Steube reminded viewers of Trump’s call for his supporters to march peacefully and patriotically to make their voices heard on January 6, 2021. Despite the Democrats’ best efforts to twist the narrative, Steube made it clear that Trump’s actions that day were 100% in line with what a president should be doing.

When asked about the perennial headline-grabber, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and her predictable call for articles of impeachment, Steube highlighted the absurdity of such a move given the Republican majority in the House. If there’s one thing that can be said about AOC, it’s that she’s consistent—in her quest for headline fodder. Steube was also quick to remind everyone that removing a Supreme Court justice has never happened and would require an insurmountable two-thirds Senate majority.

In the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s commonsense ruling, Steube boldly highlighted the Democrats’ transparent effort to pack the court with left-wing zealots loyal to the Democratic Party agenda. The left’s conga line to dismantle impartial judiciary standards continues unabated.

Adding some legal oomph to the conversation, Alina Habba, a senior Trump adviser, chimed in with the prediction that these legal distractions probably won’t delay Trump’s campaign. She echoed sentiments from Trump’s camp that these legal battles are nothing short of election interference—a desperate attempt to derail Trump before the 2024 election.

One can’t help but recall Sen. J.D. Vance’s astute observation that if cops, judges, and prosecutors have immunity, why shouldn’t the president? Especially when doing the job means facing an unending barrage of politically motivated lawsuits. Rumor has it, Vance might just be the VP pick Trump has up his sleeve.

So once again, it’s the same old show: Democrats flailing and failing to convince anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together. One can only imagine the next leftist spectacle to come out of this circus act. Stay tuned, America.
