RNC Fights to Remove Non-Citizens from Voter Rolls in Key Swing States

The Republican National Committee (RNC) is doubling down on its commitment to uphold the integrity of the electoral process by engaging in legal battles that aim to eliminate non-citizens from voter rolls—particularly in those pivotal swing states that could decide the outcome of the 2024 election. This critical initiative is about ensuring that only American citizens can exercise their right to vote, and even though victories have been achieved, the fight is far from over.

In states like Texas, where voter integrity has come under scrutiny, recent audits revealed a staggering reality: over 1.1 million ineligible voters were purged, including more than 6,500 non-citizens—approximately 1,930 of whom had the audacity to cast ballots in previous elections. Meanwhile, Virginia’s Governor Glenn Youngkin has taken action of his own by signing Executive Order 35, which effectively cleansed 6,303 non-citizens from the state’s voter list. It seems that these politicians are doing the heavy lifting that should have been done all along.

To bolster these efforts, Attorneys General from 24 states have rallied behind the RNC, uniting to protect the constitution by challenging any attempts to let non-citizens participate in the electoral process. RNC Chairman Michael Whatley has made it clear that while it’s against the law for non-citizens to vote, the Democrats seem bent on obstructing simple safeguards that ensure election integrity. This is just another chapter in a long-standing plot to keep American elections secure.

Evidence has surfaced, indicating that non-citizens in Minnesota were sent primary ballots without so much as a request or registration. The RNC is pressing state officials in California, Michigan, and other battleground territories to verify that their voter rolls are free from non-citizen entries, prompting the question of whether these state officials are even paying attention to the rules. As early voting dates loom—a veritable ticking clock—it leaves one to wonder which states are running elections versus those that are just running amok.

The RNC isn’t just tossing around accusations; they’ve filed a lawsuit against the North Carolina State Board of Elections over its failure to mandate citizenship verification before registering a whopping 225,000 voters. In Pennsylvania, a state that is critical for both parties, the RNC notched a legal win that prohibits the counting of incomplete or “naked” mail-in ballots, reinforcing the notion that every vote must conform to the standard security protocols—an uncontroversial notion, unless you’re a Democrat.

Scott Presler, founder of Early Vote Action, has also been proactive, seeking answers on whether non-citizen voters have invaded the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s voter rolls. This dedicated effort illustrates the lengths to which some are going to protect the sanctity of American elections. As early voting approaches in Pennsylvania, less than a week ahead of the much-hyped Trump vs. Harris debate, the spotlight is on the RNC’s mission to ensure that when Americans cast their votes, they can trust that they’re counted in a fair and legal manner.
