According to Trump, Sheinbaum has agreed to stop migration to Mexico. However, the Mexican leader quickly pushed back on this statement, maintaining that Mexico’s aim is not to close borders but rather to forge bridges between governments and peoples. It seems like a classic case of mixed messages, doesn’t it?
Now, the conversation is heating up regarding tariffs, as President Joe Biden also weighed in on the topic during a recent event in Nantucket. He expressed his concerns that imposing tariffs would be counterproductive. Biden noted that the U.S. is bordered by two allies, Canada and Mexico, emphasizing that maintaining good relationships is important for mutual benefit.
