Arnold Schwarzenegger once ignited a thrill among conservatives across California when he ran for governor as a Republican and actually won. That was back in 2003, a time when the state hadn’t yet devolved into the extreme leftist realm it exists in today. There was hope that the Golden State might correct its course, but Schwarzenegger’s tenure turned out to be more of a snooze-fest than a renaissance for conservative values. Instead of embodying the spirit of Ronald Reagan, he seemed far more interested in placating the liberal critics than promoting genuine Republican principles.
Fast forward to this week, and Schwarzenegger has spectacularly plunged off the deep end by endorsing none other than Kamala Harris for president. In a move that can only be described as politically absurd, the former action star decided to snub any notion of supporting a fellow Republican. Instead of finding common ground with conservatives, he leaped straight into the embrace of the most left-leaning agenda that America has seen in decades. Is he still trying to curry favor with the Kennedy clan, minus RFK Jr., of course?

The backlash was instantaneous, as social media lit up with disdain toward the erstwhile action hero for his endorsement of Harris. 😡 When a once-beloved conservative icon openly backs such a far-left candidate, it sparks outrage and confusion among his fans. Conservative commentator Mike Cernovich aptly summarized the situation, reminding everyone of Arnold’s heavy-handed COVID lockdowns and his blatant disregard for individual freedoms. It’s hard to understand how a man who once championed strength and independence could turn into a caricature of political correctness.
A sure sign of political irrelevance is when even cringe-inducing figures like former Illinois Representative Adam Kinzinger praise you. Schwarzenegger’s fall from grace is almost tragic; he once captivated audiences with iconic performances in films like “Conan the Barbarian” and “Terminator,” but now, those memories are tainted by his betrayal of conservative values. No longer can fans enjoy his past achievements without the reminder of his latest political folly—endorsing a regime that perpetuates radical gender ideology and weak foreign policy.
In the world of celebrity endorsements, one can never underestimate the power of disappointment. It’s certainly one thing to be lukewarm about Trump’s approach, but to flat-out endorse Kamala Harris signals a complete abandonment of principles. Schwarzenegger risks losing a legion of fans who once celebrated his feats and films. If he continues down this road, he might find himself permanently crossed off the playlist of many who once adored him.
