Joe Biden’s presidency has been a disaster, and even his harshest critics are starting to acknowledge the failures. One surprising critic-turned-fan is rapper Snoop Dogg, who previously bashed former President Donald Trump. In a recent interview with The Sunday Times of London, Snoop had a change of heart and admitted that Trump had done nothing wrong to him. He even went as far as showing respect and admiration for Trump’s decision to pardon Michael Harris, a co-founder of Snoop’s first record label, who was imprisoned for drug offenses. Snoop’s newfound support for the Republican front-runner is a far cry from the derogatory comments he has made in the past, including shooting Trump in the head in a 2017 music video.
Snoop’s change of tune comes at a time when President Biden’s mental acuity is being questioned. In July 2022, Snoop took a jab at Biden’s mental state by promoting a brand of marijuana called “Sleepy Joe OG,” which featured a photo of Biden looking confused. Snoop’s Instagram post also included flags of Ukraine, China, and Russia, poking fun at Biden’s foreign policy blunders. When asked if he would endorse Trump in the upcoming election, Snoop said he might, but he’s wary of the backlash he would receive. Despite Snoop’s endorsement, it’s important to note that most people don’t base their voting decisions on what rappers say.

Regardless of celebrity endorsements, Biden’s approval ratings have plummeted due to issues such as inflation, crime, geopolitical conflicts, and the border crisis. While Democrats and the media continue to attack Trump with baseless accusations, the American people are more concerned with real problems like rising grocery prices and rampant crime. In the face of these issues, Biden’s empty rhetoric falls flat. Snoop Dogg’s change of heart is just one example of the growing dissatisfaction with Biden’s presidency. As the 2024 election approaches, it’s clear that the American people are longing for real change and leadership.
