This time, President Joe Biden and his family are enjoying a luxurious holiday in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. But, surprise, surprise, it looks like there's going to be some trouble. It turns out that they are staying on a waterfront property that is owned by Tom Steyer, a wealthy investor and activist against climate change. Now, the White House says that the Bidens are paying rent for their stay, but there are complaints that Steyer may not have the right permits to run the house as a rental. Oh no, it looks like someone didn't read the fine print!

A Nevada Globe review found that Steyer may not be following a county law that says rental properties need permits. It was said in a complaint against him that he didn't have the right permits to rent out the Lake Tahoe home. The county is serious about these violations and has even made a list of punishments, which include fines of up to $20,000 and possible criminal charges. Oh no!
The White House, of course, keeps avoiding the problem by saying that the First Family pays "fair market value" for the rental. But they don't want to say what the real amount is. The New York Post is upset that this important fact might never be made public because it is a private deal between Steyer and the Bidens. What a good time for them!
Steyer himself should not be forgotten. This guy is famous for wasting $341 million of his own money on a failed run for president in 2020. What a ridiculous effort! And let's not even talk about his stupid $10 million ad campaign to get President Donald Trump removed from office. How about "obsessed"? Steyer seems to have a lot of free time and money, but he might want to focus on following the rules instead. Just an idea.
