The Supreme Court has once again handed a crushing blow to the Left, defending religious liberty and restoring equality in college admissions. The liberal tears have been flowing like a never-ending river as they try to cling to their tired arguments and illegitimate claims against the Court. But guess what? Affirmative action just got a major reality check, and everyone is celebrating except for the white liberals who love to play the victim card.
Recent data from an Economist/YouGov poll, conducted after the Supreme Court’s decision, shows that a majority of Americans actually support the Court’s ruling. In fact, more than 60% of Americans agree that race and ethnicity should not be a determining factor in college admissions. Even more surprising is the fact that Black Americans themselves are not strongly objecting to this decision. Over 40% of them approve of the Court’s ruling, with strong approval outnumbering strong disapproval.
This isn’t the first time polls have shown support for banning the use of race and ethnicity in admissions. The Washington Post-Schar School poll revealed that nearly half of Black Americans actually support such a ban. It seems that the narrative pushed by the liberal media is not aligning with the opinions of the very people they claim to speak for. It’s clear that even Black voters are not fond of affirmative action.

But leave it to The Washington Post to try and spin the story. They claim that polling on this issue is difficult, conveniently ignoring the fact that multiple polls have consistently shown support for ending the use of race and ethnicity in admissions. The truth is, Black Americans are not benefiting from these policies, and a significant portion actually see themselves as disadvantaged by them.
So, let’s call it what it is: a victory for equality and a defeat for the liberal agenda. The Supreme Court has made a bold statement in defense of meritocracy and fairness. It’s time for the white liberals to drop their circus act and accept that their narrative has collapsed. Affirmative action is losing support, even among the very communities it claims to help.
Game. Set. Match. The truth prevails, and the Left is left scrambling to explain why their cherished policies are failing and alienating the very people they claim to champion. Perhaps it’s time for them to reassess their approach and start listening to the voices of all Americans, instead of pushing their own misguided agenda.
