Ted Cruz Exposes FBI’s Dirty Secrets, Time for Reform in 2024!

Senator Ted Cruz from Texas became infuriated with the way FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate refused to answer his questions about the agency's failure to follow proper procedures when it comes to monitoring the activities of Americans. Recent news reports revealed that the agency's surveillance powers were abused over 278,000 times.

Cruz accused Abbate of hiding behind allegations about the way the FBI handles its investigations. The agency continues to avoid being held accountable and transparent. The deputy director of the FBI used the excuse of ongoing investigations to avoid talking about the issues that the American people are experiencing. The FBI is under the supervision of Congress, but it seems that there is no oversight of the agency.

The FBI has maintained that it is above the law, yet they continue to cover up their actions. For instance, they redacted the names of 17 recordings that they claimed contained a scheme involving Joe Biden. The fact that Congress has oversight over the Bureau doesn't matter as it seems that unelected officials are free to operate.

The Republican Party should nominate a candidate who can effectively address the issues that are affecting the country, such as corruption at the Department of Justice and the FBI. These candidates must provide concrete plans on how they will stop these types of corruption. Failing to do so could lead to voters going elsewhere.

The American people have a right to be outraged at how the FBI continues to belittle and ignore them. Politicians who are elected by the people have a responsibility to protect the rights of individuals. If they fail to do this, then it is up to the voters to elect individuals who will uphold these rights.
