In a true display of leadership and defiance against the ineptitude of the Biden Administration, members of the Texas National Guard have taken it upon themselves to protect their state and their country by blocking migrants from entering. Governor Greg Abbott, a true patriot, declared this invasion and set up hard barriers to defend Texas against the never-ending flow of illegal aliens.
Texas, once again, finds itself bearing the burden of the ongoing migrant crisis. It comes as no surprise that another U.S. record for migrant encounters was shattered in August. The border town of Eagle Pass has been inundated with a mind-boggling 9,000 new illegal entries in just the past nine days. As a result, the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol had no choice but to close down the Eagle Pass International Bridge port of entry. It’s about time someone took action!
Underneath the bridge, a report from reliable sources at Breitbart News states that more than 3,000 migrants have gathered. This begs the question: How can the Biden Administration continue to turn a blind eye to this crisis while our border communities suffer?
Thankfully, Governor Abbott had the foresight to order the Texas National Guard to construct razor wire fences in an attempt to deter these illegal entries. This was done in response to the federal agents shamefully cutting down the fences that were previously set up. It’s a good thing Texas won in court, allowing the razor wire buoys to stay. The Biden Administration clearly doesn’t understand the importance of securing our borders and protecting our citizens.
In a scathing letter addressed to President Biden, Governor Abbott expressed the frustration of Texans who are paying the price for this failure in leadership. Ranches are being torn apart, homes are vulnerable to intrusion, and our border communities are constantly disrupted by human traffickers. The deadly drug fentanyl is flooding across the porous border and is now the leading cause of death for citizens between the ages of 18 and 45. This is a crisis, and it’s about time someone took it seriously.
On Wednesday, Texas law enforcement personnel were seen reinstalling the razor wire fencing that was shamefully cut down by Border Patrol agents. Governor Abbott stood strong and deployed more members of the Texas National Guard to repel these illegal crossings and install even more razor wire. It’s clear that Texas is taking the lead in protecting our borders while the Biden Administration continues to play games.

Now, thanks to the brave members of the Texas National Guard, large groups of migrants are being blocked at the border. Finally, we are witnessing a stark contrast from the days when we saw countless smiling border crossers strolling in through open entries. It’s a true testament to the power of strong leadership and decisive action.
Once again, the Biden Administration has proven its inability to handle the crisis at the border. With over 300,000 known illegal border crossings happening in August, yet another record set under their watch, it’s clear that their misguided policies are having disastrous consequences. But Texas will not stand idly by. Governor Abbott and the Texas National Guard are showing the nation how it’s done, and it’s time for the rest of the country to follow suit.
It’s time to secure our borders, protect our communities, and put America first. The Biden Administration has proven time and time again that they are incapable of doing so. We need leaders who are willing to take action, like Governor Abbott, to ensure the safety and prosperity of our great nation.
