Biden’s reluctance to completely dismiss the rumors of Pelosi’s influence opened the floodgates for skeptics and strategists alike to ponder who’s really at the helm. With Obama’s past staffers taking jabs at the current president’s poll numbers, it might be safe to say there are plenty of angry Democrats sharpening their knives.

Judging by Biden’s roundabout answers and unsteady false bravado, it’s hard to imagine that the Democrats aren’t experiencing some severe fractures just weeks away from an election that could shape the future of their party.
