On Monday, gun control activists showed up to the Colorado Capitol, but they weren’t just calling for minor changes – they wanted it all. The leader, Dr. Leah Fabiano, made it crystal clear that a total gun ban and buyback was what they were after. This came as no surprise to those who have been paying attention; the radical left’s stance on gun control has never been limited to certain types of guns and accessories. They want all guns gone, leaving law-abiding citizens in danger while criminals run amok.

The group Here 4 the Kids called for the same thing, advocating for the complete prohibition of firearms. The president and co-founder of the organization, Saira Rao, stated that guns are “the number one killer of children in America,” and that not banning them is the real radical position.
It’s refreshing to see these activists being honest with the public for once about their true intentions. The left has never been shy about their disdain for the Second Amendment, but now they are brazenly calling for all guns to be banned. This kind of extreme ideology is dangerous and will only weaken our society’s ability to protect itself from harm.
It is vital that we continue to fight for our right to bear arms and not allow the radical left to disarm us in the name of their misguided ideals. As always, we must stay vigilant in the face of these threats to our freedoms and not back down to their demands. The future of America and our way of life depend on it.
