The former president, who always knows how to steal the spotlight, was invited to the Club for Growth’s annual economic retreat in sunny Palm Beach, Florida. And lo and behold, he graciously accepted the invitation to make his grand entrance on Friday evening.
In a dramatic moment, the former president declared, “Now we’re back in love; we’re in deep, deep love.” You can almost hear the romantic music playing in the background as he delivered those lines.
The Club for Growth, a deep-pocketed group that loves to splash the cash on conservative candidates, had a falling out with Trump during the midterm elections.
