The recent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, is yet another glaring example of the dangers he faces and the incompetence or malice of those supposed to protect him. Here are five reasons why every American should be outraged and ready to take decisive action.
First off, let’s talk about the jaw-dropping incompetence of law enforcement. A man with a rifle was spotted on a roof, and it took several minutes for the Secret Service to react. It’s as if they were taking a leisurely Sunday stroll instead of safeguarding a former president. Some reports suggest the law enforcement sniper was so overwhelmed that he briefly lost focus, which is as comforting as a screen door on a submarine. When Keystone Cops are more effective, everyone should be concerned.

Secondly, the Democrats and their habit of playing the blame game—both sides are equally culpable, they cry. Get serious. This was one side engaging in violence, just like in 2020 and previous years. Remember the 2017 baseball field shooting, where a fervent Trump-hater opened fire on Republican lawmakers? The left’s disdain for Trump, stoked by figures like Biden, has real, dangerous consequences. Once, the left’s wish list of violent ways to harm Trump would be comedic if it weren’t so sickeningly real. From Robert De Niro’s fantasy of slugging Trump’s face to Madonna’s wish to blow him up, it reads like a murder mystery written by a deranged screenwriter.
A mere three months ago, the Democrats tried to strip Trump of his Secret Service protection. Yeah, you read that right. Bennie Thompson and his cronies introduced a ridiculous piece of legislation targeting Trump and other “extremely dishonorable” former protectees. Clearly, if they can’t beat him fair and square, they’re willing to gamble with his life.
Now, the mainstream media is doing what it does best—downplaying, sugar-coating, and covering up. While the former president was literally bleeding, the media chose terms like “interruption” and “startled.” Headlines spoke of “loud noises” and “possible” assassination attempts. Leftist media outlets were reluctant even to acknowledge the clear attempt on Trump’s life. But hey, if they don’t report it, maybe it didn’t happen, right? Wrong. Time magazine’s reluctant nod to the incident only underscores their hypocrisy.
Lastly, the Democrats aren’t done with their rancorous vendetta against Trump. Their limitless hatred knows no bounds. They’ve gaslighted everyone about Biden’s cognitive condition while putting someone unfit in charge of our nuclear codes. The Democrats are a ghastly cocktail of incompetence and malevolence, more focused on preventing Trump’s re-election than ensuring the country’s safety. Their actions are reminiscent of a death cult obsessed with power at any moral cost.
Every American should be furious. This anger should translate into action—vote them out, monitor polling places, safeguard mail-in ballots, and keep the process transparent. It’s time to protect the sanctity of our elections and thank God that Trump survived this vicious attack. The left’s relentless pursuit of Trump is nothing short of a crusade, and for the sake of America, it must be stopped.
