By connecting Harris’ proposals to regimes that have turned thriving economies into barren wastelands, Trump underscores the absurdity of her approach. Rubio points out that advocating for price controls is little more than inviting economic ruin, akin to serving up a plate of misery when Americans are simply seeking a full pantry instead. As prices continue to ascend, it seems that Harris’ contribution to the economic conversation is merely spinning in circles, confusing price control with value. The economic policies she’s promoting might help her scores in leftist circles, but for the average American trying to make ends meet, they read more like a bad joke than a sound strategy.
