With no apparent policy page populating her campaign website—a puzzling oversight—Voter-friendly, that is, if you’re into policies like “open the borders,” plans to raise taxes, and freeing criminals, the Trump campaign saw a golden opportunity. The Trump team made it clear: if Harris isn’t going to share her thoughts, they are more than willing to speak on her behalf. It’s akin to lending her a megaphone that she desperately needs but refuses to use.
The site that has risen from the ashes of Harris’s policy void boldly presents the case against her. Nine policy milestones give depth to the fears many voters have regarding a Harris-led agenda. Her inclinations toward setting murderers free, dismantling border security, eliminating private health insurance, and even extending things like Social Security and Medicare to illegal immigrants do not paint a pretty picture. It seems calling this agenda “dangerous” might be a bit of an understatement.

So while Ms. Harris might have thought she could keep her policies under wraps, the Trump campaign decided to burst that bubble. Her avoidance tactic can only work for so long before the inevitable conversation about her positions must take place. After all, if one camp is determined to highlight the flaws of an opponent’s platform, it’s wise for that opponent to prepare, lest they play the losing hand in this political poker game.
